After jailbreaking your iPhone make sure to open Cydia and make sure your installed packages are up to date.

Step Two
Download the latest version of iPhoDroid from here. The download link is at the bottom left of the page.

Step Three
Double click the downloaded zip to extract the application. Then double click the application icon to launch it.

Step Four
Make sure your iPhone is connected to the computer via a USB cable then press the Shoot! button.

Step Five
iPhoDroid will then extract the touch driver and transfer the cache, system, and data to the iPhone.

You will be informed that your iPhone is being placed into Recovery Mode.

Your iPhone will now show you an Apple logo and an Android logo. Use the volume buttons to select theInstall option at the lower left hand corner of the screen then press the Home button.

Some verbose mode text will appear on the screen as Android is installed. Once complete your iPhone will boot into the Android operating system.

First thing is that you NEED to be rooted and have SPRecovery.

I am going to be showing you to install UD FroYo Alpha.

You are going to need to do a nandroid backup.

After that you are going to need to download the Ultimate Droid FroYo Alpha.

Place it in the nandroid folder on the root of your SD card.

Go to restore/backup and select advanced nandroid restore.

Select the udfroyoalpha folder and restore from it.

Once it is done you can reboot and you are done and have FroYo installed.

This FroYo port could not have been done without P3Droid.

You can overclock with P3Droid’s custom FroYo Kernel’s.

Disclaimer: iAligator.com or I are not responsible if you brick your phone. This is pretty easy to do but you can brick your phone. I would not recommend this, but if your phone is bricked, then use this.

Before you do this make sure your battery is 30% or more.

First thing you will need is RSD Lite

Second is Motorola USB drivers. 32-bit or 64-bit

Then the 2.1 SPRecovery SBF or the original 2.0 SBF

Once you have downloaded RSD Lite, the USB drivers and the SBF turn off your phone. Once it is off slide out the keyboard and press up on the d-pad and turn it on. You will be in the bootloader, plug in the USB cable.

In RSD Lite press the “…” box and select the SBF file you downloaded. Once it is loaded press the “Show  Device” button if your phone hasn’t showed up in the first box on the bottom. Once your phone has shown up press “Start”. Don’t touch it for several minutes white it installs the sbf.

Once it is done your phone will reboot and you can set it up like a new phone.

NOTE: If it says “FAIL” you may be okay. Every time I have done this it has said fail. Just click around in the program and your phone will reboot and you can set it up like a new phone. If clicking around doesn’t work your phone is bricked and you will need to bring it to Verizon and they may or may not fix/replace it.

T-Mobile Nexus One:

First off you are going to need to download the FroYo update (this is the update Google pushed that some people didn’t get yet). Download the update and rename it to update.zip and copy it to your SD card. Turn off the phone, press down the trackball and press the power button and select bootloader. When you’re at the next screen select Recovery. Once your in the recovery and you see the Android with a “!”, press the volume up and power button at the same time (could take a few tries). Now select apply update.zip.

Now that you have downloaded and installed FroYo (2.2), it is time to root.

If you have not rooted and do not have a custom recovery you will need to use this way to root.

Now if you are rooted and have a custom recovery image you are going to need to do this to root; download this update and rename it to update.zip and apply it as you did to get FroYo originaly.

AT&T Nexus One:

You can install FroYo with the same method and not have 3G because it is meant for T-Mobile or you can root before applying this update with Amon-Ra’s recovery and then appy the update and use the second rooting method to get 3G. This may not work. Someone reported that it does work but it is not confirmed.

The second method is a Chrome Extension (Windows only for now) by giakomino which adds a small icon to the toolbar allowing you to generate the shortlink quickly.

Prerequisites: You must be jailbroken on the iPhone 3.1.2 firmware. You need to have SSH installed and you need to know the IP Address of your device on the local network. Finally you will also need Fugu installed.

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage. In it place the patch file for your appropriate device. [3G] [3GS]

Step Two
Double the download zip file to extract its contents. You will get a folder called CommCenter_3g_312 or CommCenter _3gs_312.

Step Three
Launch Fugu from your applications folder.

Step Four
Input your iPhone’s IP Address in the Connect To: field and use root as the Username. Click the Connect button to continue. For this to work you must have SSH installed.

When prompted input alpine as the password then click the Authenticate button.

Step Five
Once Fugu opens the directory contents of your device, use the left panel to navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop.

Next, click the Go To.. button on the toolbar.

Input /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/ into the Go To field, select Remotely, then click the Go button.

Drag the CommCenter file from the right panel into the left panel to copy it to your computer.

Step Six
Launch Terminal by double clicking it from the Applications:Utilities folder on your computer.

Execute cd Desktop/Pwnage to navigate to your Pwnage folder.

Execute bspatch CommCenter CommCenter-patched CommCenter_3g_312/CommCenter3g.patch to make a patched version of the CommCenter.

IMPORTANT: Remember to change 3g to 3gs if you have the iPhone 3GS. ie. bspatch CommCenter CommCenter-patched CommCenter_3gs_312/CommCenter3gs.patch

Now we need to confirm that the patched file was created successfully. Input this command into the Terminal window to check: /usr/bin/openssl sha1 CommCenter-patched.

Check your SHA1 with the correct ones below to make sure the patch occurred successfully. If it did not. Do not continue.

Step Seven
Return to Fugu and Control-Click CommCenter in the right panel. Select Rename from the contextual menu and rename the file to CommCenter-backup.

Click the Reload button on the toolbar if necessary then drag the CommCenter-patched file from the left panel to the right.

Control-Click the CommCenter-patched file in the right panel and select Rename from the contextual menu. Rename the file to CommCenter.

Control-Click the CommCenter file from the right panel and select Get Info from the contextual menu. At the bottom of the Info window change the permissions to 0755 and click the Apply button.

Step Eight
You may now reboot your iPhone and you will be able to use Internet Tethering.

3. Tap Edit on the top, then ‘+’
4. Type in the following source: http://repo.packagerrepo.com
5. Then under sources ‘Entered by User’ tap Packager Repo
6. Find Orbit Cracked and Install it.

Step One
Open your web browser of choice and navigate to http://www.blackra1n.com. Click the Windows logo at the bottom of the screen.

Step Two
When prompted save the download to your desktop

Step Three
Then double click the blackra1n executable file from the desktop to launch the program

Step Four
Make sure your iPhone or iPod is connected to the computer then click the large make it ra1n button

Step Five
You iPhone will now be placed in recovery mode.

You will see a picture of GeoHot that replaces the regular recovery mode screen on your device.

blackra1n will run and then your device will reboot.

A popup message will appear informing you that BlackRa1n is free software and if you appreciate it you can donate to GeoHot at geohot@gmail.com.

Step Six
Once your device reboots it will be jailbroken and you will notice a blackra1n icon on the desktop. Make sure you have an internet connection and press to launch the application.

Choose the installer application of your choice then press the Install button at the top right of the screen

BlackRa1n will begin to download and install the package you selected.

Step Seven
Once complete BlackRa1n will respring your iPhone and you will find the installer package of your choice on the Springboard.

Step Eight
Once you have confirmed your installer package is working correctly you may use the Uninstall blackra1n button inside the BlackRa1n app to remove it from your springboard.
